Thanks for checking out our website. First Congregational United Church of Christ is a historical and progresive church in the tradition of the early Pilgrims of New England. We were the first church to ordain women, oppose, slavery, and open our church home to folks of varying lifestyles. Today we continue those traditions.
We are an open and affirming church, firmly rooted in the Good News of Jesus Christ. We believe that God is still speaking to us as we journey through a life of faith. Mission and outreach, worshipo that relates to everyday life, and friendly people are the cornerstones of our life together.
First Congregational is a comfortable, relaxed place to join others on the journey of faith. We do not pressure people to believe one way, but encourage them to follow Christ from their own perspective as disciples.
I personally invite yout join our sojourn of faith. Join us as we continue this journey of discipleship.

Here's What's Happening at Our Church:
*Sunday Schedule: Bible Study at 9:00 a.m. and Worship/Sunday School at 10:00 a.m.
*Next Community Dinner: Friday, May 25th; 5pm - 7pm
*1st Annual Summer Concert Series beginning Sunday, June 3rd: Musicians to include: Organist J.Gordon Christensen, Pianist Steve Beck, Palladium Brass, Ron Cooley Duo, Midland Strings, Strikepoint Bell Choir, Resonance; Click here for schedule
*Fleece Blanket Project will meet Thursdays 9:30 am - 12:00 p.m.
*Free Band Lessons available to middle school band students - times are available!
*Donations are always accepted for the Food Pantry Coop, especially the first Sunday of each month!
*Help will be needed at the church farm. Talk to Bob J. or Pastor Tom for more information.
